Guys, I was thinking about the klogo on the kmenu. I would really like to change the K for another logo or icon. Do you have any Ideas on how to do that? Thanks for the answer.
Guys, I think that the kmenu icons have change it is no longer where it says it is. I am still searching but if you know where it is, please let me know.
It has not changed locations. The $KDEDIR mentioned in the FAQ it /usr in Kubuntu. So "$KDEDIR/share/icons/default.kde/size/apps/kmenu.png" in Kubuntu means "/usr/share/icons/icon_theme_name/icon_size_set/apps/kmenu.png".
icon_theme_name is the name of the icon theme. On a default KDE installation, that would be "crystalsvg" (which is actually what default.kde points to).
icon_size_set is the size of the icon you are trying to replace, such as 48x48, 64x64, etc.
Note: if you are trying to change the K Menu icon for an icon theme that you have added yourself, change $KDEDIR to $KDEHOME. On Kubuntu, $KDEHOME is ~/.kde/, so that will be ~/.kde/share/icons/icon_theme_name/icon_size_set/apps/kmenu.png
