What could be the problem here? I run the Feisty and when starting the Adept manager I always get a message saying:
You will not be able to change your system settings in any way (install, remove or upgrade software), because another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one.
The same is true when I get the notification in the right lower corner telling me of new system updates.
So, I cannot upgrade my system unless I can get rid of that process using the adept at the same time. Although I am not aware of what it could be.
I am not sure even how to find the currently running processes. What can I do to upgrade my system?
