Hibernate problems

Hi everyone,

I have an iMac Intel Core 2 Duo (2 GHz and 1024 MB RAM). When I put my computer to "sleep"/hibernate in Kubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn), I get a screen full of text and it seems like my system hangs. Is there some sort of solution to this (other than holding the power button till the system shuts down or remove the power plug)?

How long did you wait? I also get a screen full of text (something about USB) when hybernating, but eventually it switches off. I know it's a silly question, still... (I usually have to wait around 40 secs to hybernate). Though I have different notebook (clevo variant).
