    You have to install it!

It can be easily done through Kubuntu's "Add/Remove Programs" tool

Because kubuntu already has a web browser in konqueror (although most ppl install firefox anyway).

          Did you remember sudo??

          Code:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get install firefox

            heh,heh,
no but I think apt-update did.

question is how to fix this problem with the access icon on my task bar. If I go into a terminal and type:
            sudo apt-get update

            this will fix my problem?

            thanks for your help
