Cant get Refresh Rate

Ive managed to get past a lot if issues in kubuntu but his is by fa one of the worst.Getting the right refresh rate.Heres my xorg.conf. I should be getting 1028*1024@75 right? Please tell me any problems with it cause ive mesed around a lot...

As far as I know, using "HorizSync & VertRefresh" in parallel to modlines is not supposed to work (as the latter are intended to replace the former).

not to step on any toes, and with respect, i don't believe that is the case. my xorg.conf has a layout identical to his. i have no problems.

if you need to know your monitor's supported refresh rates/resolution, i'd recommend checking several places: your monitor's manual, the manufacturer's site of your monitor, and then if you can't find it at those two places, a google search.

there are several helpful websites that will calculate your monitor's resolutions/refresh rates (and other attributes) by inputting some basic info. then you could try pasting that info into your xorg.conf. (but BACK IT UP FIRST). try searching google for xorg.conf generator or some variations of that if this is the type of info you are looking for.

Thanks guys. I know my refresh rate but i im not getting that exact refresh rate. Thats why i posted to see if someone could take a look. My max resolution is 1028*0124@75
