error installing kdar

Before I attempted to install Kubuntu 7.04, I backed up my home directory from SuSE 10.2 using KDar onto a CD.

After installing Kubuntu (by way of an Ubuntu install first) I was able to install DAR.
However, when I attempted to install the GUI interface kdar with apt-get,
I received the following error message:

E: Couldn't find package kdar

Any constructive ideas from someone who has succeeded?

You get that error because there is no kdar package in the Ubuntu repos. If you want kdar you'll have to find it and install it manually.
