Using Xine instead of Mplayer - how to delay audio 1 or 2 ms?

A newbie to Xine, I thought I'd try it instead of Mplayer and it seems to work fine. One thing though, I used to use the audio delay/advance feature in Mplayer, (hit + or - key to advance or retard 1ms), quite a bit and don't see the same feature in Kaffeine. Does it exist?

i'd recommend using kaffeine. (it uses the xine engine for playback). i also have kmplayer installed (which i use in the rare case something doesn't play or play correctly with kaffeine).

as for your question, i can't figure out how to do it with kaffeine or xine after skimming over all the options.

Annoying. Xine seems to be the Cannonical choice - which is why I'm giving it a go - but Mplayer always worked really well for me and I do miss that audio delay button, not to mention the 'F' key for full screen. (ctrl shift F requires too many fingers.)

The A/V offset can be controlled by pressing "m" or "," IIRC

'M' makes the window tools disappear/re-appear and ',' does nothing for me. What does IIRC mean?

Ah. Well in that case I'm none the wiser vis a vis audio/video delay/advance. Strangely, now that I've got used to not having it, I'm missing it less. Like sugar in coffee.
