Actually this's been going on for a few kde/kubuntu versions:
if it's relevant, I'm on an nvidia graphics card NV6 [Vanta/Vanta LT]
symptom - i'll be working along and suddenly the cursor will JUMP to the edge (usually right) edge of the monitor screen and *BAM* switch the desktop to the immediately adjacent dt.
It's annoying and at this point i'd prefer to just turn off the feature but no desktop/pager configuration gives me any clues on how to change.
another symptom: half the time, when i attempt to switch desktop using said cursor edge method, the pager switch is unresponsive - especially when moving to 'next left' virtual desktop.
any concrete clues to solving this will decidedly help to maintain my sanity.
