Hello All!
I want to replace guidance power manager (the default) with the much powerful and configurable kpowersave applet (I use KDE for a reason ) I'm weary of simply deinstalling kde-guidance-powermanager because the problems reported in this thread: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3081372.0
I couldn't find a way to disable the damn thing! It runs alongside kpowersave applet now. I don't want it > It isn't listed in Services module of kcontrol, I disabled kde-guidance on all runlevels, I quit it before saving my session, yet it reappears each time I reboot or restart kde.
Please help me folks!
