    Re: Good DVD Player?

check my installation instructions and make sure you perform all those installs.

you don't need medibuntu to make it work.

So far, what I've found is that kaffeine need the video driver to be working properly. I enabled the via driver and videos and dvds are working properly on kaffeine.

      I will continue the research

        Problems again ...
Now I have Kubuntu 32bit version.
My DVD is even not loading...
Not only Kaffeine don't play. But also VLC and Mplay don't play it at all.
What kind of libs or file I could be missing?

        Never Mind..

For some reason my DVD5 is working only my first DVD-rom... But not it Second one....

I was getting the same error message as reply 4. I followed the image posted by metricus and bingo my Kaffiene is now up and running. One more bug with Feisty resolved. Thanks a lot.

            It's not a bug.
Those programs do not load by default for many reasons including copyright issues etc. You just have to make a note to install them everytime you make a fresh installation.

            Have fun.

PS: You have not seen anything until you see Kaffeine receiving satellite signals...
