im stuck on the first step... it wont let my extract the .so file to the /plugins file. it says i dont have permission.... any help? i have the rest of the steps done i just cant get that one file in to the plugins....

I think maybe you are referring to nspluginwrapper to add flash to 64-bit firefox -- here's a script to install it:

OK take it easy.
First download the 32 bit version of the flashplayer from
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...9_linux.tar.gz
extract the archive and put the flash~.so file in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

That is the step i cant complete. i have it downloaded but it wont allow me to put the flash~.so file into the plugins folder.

Any help would be great thanks

Go to the directory that contains the file and hit F4. Type or paste this:

sudo mv flash~.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

You need write access to that folder. Becoming root (with sudo) gives you that capability.

ok now im stuck on the installing the .deb files. i right click them and then they run but they get stuck.

one gets stuck at
setting up nspluginwrapper-i386 (0.9.91.4-2)...

the other at
looking for plugins in /root/.mozilla/plugins
