<Ctrl + Tab> desktop switching gone?

I've got Edgy on a desktop, Fawn on a desktop and an older Toshiba laptop

<Ctrl + Tab> desktop switching works great in Edgy, nothing at all with either Fawn box

Is this just now working yet, something I have to turn on, something I've toasted . . .

It's working here. Try checking the keyboard shortcut for it in System Settings > Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard Shortcuts.
