    Right Sidebar missing in Digikam

I have just completed a clean install of Kubuntu 7.04, and updated all of the packages.

The issue I am having is with Digikam not showing the right hand sidebar. I can see the tabs for Properties, Metadata, etc., but the actual sidebar does not show. If I move the mouse over the right hand side, the cursor turns to a resize arrow, but I am unable to resize anything either.

There is a link to an image of what it should look like http://www.digikam.org/?q=system/fil...01.preview.png.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem, or any additional info that could help troubleshoot the issue?

    Thanks

Have you tried clicking on the side tabs (the "buttons" with the names "Properties", "Metadata", etc.)?

I just checked it here. if you're getting the resize cursor then you probably just need to drag it farther to the left. It seems to take a unusually large amount of dragging to get it to reappear.

        Thanks, that worked.

Turns out that when I tried to resize it previously, I did not go far enough to the left. This time I pulled it almost half way across the Digikam window, and the sidebar magically appeared!
