Over all I'm very please with 7.04 and all my testing went well for all apps I use, and so I decided to move one to something new, Beryl. I'm very impressed with this. I have, however, not been able to find answers to some questions and hope that it can be answered here.
First. I have no sound for window events like minimize and maximize. It isn't the whole sound system as I can hear my MP3s. When using WINE, the sound doesn't work in there either. I searched and found that this does happen on some systems, but I never could find a fix.
Second. If I click on the Start menu and go to a sub menu, the majority of the time those submenus' left edge and actually up to the App Icons are up under the main menu. As I said, a few times it has displayed correctly. I've also noticed that if I move up the main menu, the preceding submenu is shadowed under the currently viewed submenu. Any ideas?
