I've tried searching for an answer to this, but I haven't had any success.
When I set Beryl to run as the Window manager, then the System Tray and the Taskbar will both come up missing. If I run my mouse over where they should be, I will get little tips popping up saying something is there, but nothing else will show. I brought the external taskbar up to help out - but I do miss being able to see my System Tray.
Any one have any suggestions on how I can fix this.
Oh, everything is normal when I'm not using Beryl.
Update: I noticed that the panel did not seem to update when my desktop background did (I had it set for transparency). I changed the panel settings so that it did not use transparency, and now everything is going great.
I use two panels, one on the top of my screen (Main panel), and a second one on the bottom of my screen (panel); the bottom one worked just as it should, but the top one was the one that was having the troubles.
