Beryl - Won't work/run - Flash

I installed Beryl on Fiesty and when I attempt to run it or make it be the Window manager all it does is make my desktop flash a couple of times and then revert back to kdm (kwe) manager.

Has anyone had any success in getting Beryl to run?

I have a 1.4Ghz Intel with a 32Mb ATI Video built in....

Yes, I got it working out of the box with this page : http://wiki.beryl-project.org/index.php/Install/Ubuntu
My laptop is using a i915 integrated card.
