upgrade wiped my video out.. Back to Edgy. Nvidia geforce2 mx100 ddr/200 upon reboot appeared to boot then went from white arrow to black screen on two different feisty beta downloads.

Sounds like X could require reconfiguring. This quite often happens I believe.
I assume you get a black login screen? If so type sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg. Then hit return. This will reconfigure X.
Then type startx. You should be back in business.

yes, try what liquidator said. it seems overkill to give up so quickly on the upgrade. sounds kinda like a possible beryl issue too, i don't know if you use beryl or not tho....<br />

Thanks reconfigure x did the trick. Think I'm over my head with feisty. I'll try again in couple of weeks when things have settled down I hope.Comment

if you think you might be over your head with a testing release, you prolly are. read first post (stickied) on this thread. remember feisty is a testing release, not meant for every day use.Comment
