Some prgrams won't work after upgrade

After the upgrade from Edgy to Feisty Beta there is a lot of programs that won't work, the ones that I include:
- VMWare (bouncing cursor and then, nothing)
- Tovid (GUI) (bouncing cursor and then, nothing)
- K3b will launch a Buffer underrun error (used Brasero instead)
- Cedega will have issues mounting games discs
- XQF will open twice

Those are some of the issues that I found out, in any case I will not make a fresh install nor reinstall the programs yet. Maybe on future updates those problems will get solved.

I can help with K3b as I just experienced an error on attempting to write. You need to run K3b setup again.

After the upgrade did you reinstall the offending programs with those from Feisty repositories?

I would guess that it due to the different kernal updates. I would wait for the final version. This is beta

As far as vmware player is concerned do:
sudo /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl in a terminal and it will recompile the vmware kernal headers. You will have to do this after evry kernal upgrade.
