Where is modprobe.conf?

I want my sound drivers to load on startup, but I cannot find the right file.

Any help?

modprobe.conf is a file you need to create (it does not exist until you make it), see 'man modprobe.conf' (there is a script in /usr/share/doc/module-init-tools/examples/generate-modprobe.conf.gz for generating it)

Maybe you're looking for /etc/modules instead?
