Problems with Adept

When I try and run Adept Manager or Adept Update, I get the following message, and nothing is running except that instance i try and load.


You will not be able to change your system settings in any way (install, remove or upgrade software), because another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adept application or apt-get or aptitude). Please close the other application before using this one.

Any ideas?

Sussed it.

If anyone else gets this problem, the solution is


sudo dpkg --configure -a

-when that completes-

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
