    Updates Please clarify

Just wondering if we can get a breakdown of what is in each update.

Like why is this update here?

    what does it do?

Is it critical to preformance or just eye candy?

Give us these details in the update program or a link off the kubuntu main page to where the explaination is.

    thanks all.

You can get detailed info in Adept by clicking on the item, and in Synaptic by clicking on the arrow beside the item (I think that's it anyway)

Each of the updates have a detailed description with them.

Also, if you install 'apt-listchanges' package, your package managers can show you the changelogs of the packages you upgrade.

Or you can just do what I do and blindly install the updates and see what happens.
