New icon next to clock

This new icon showed up next to my clock the other day (see attached). What is it and how do I get rid of it ... ?

I think that is the icon for public file server. Right click your panel and from the context menu select:
Remove From Panel -> Applet -> Public File Server

Let me know if that is it or if it's something else.

Thank you, I was wondering about that too.

Must have been enabled by an update?? I can't recall I added any applets.
