Hi there,
I find there is some problem with the display I don't have with previous release. I am using a very old ATI Rage PCI, it is detected and setup properly with 1024x768, the monitor is a Philip 150B2, also display properly although the system doesn't have it on the hardware list. Everything seems fine on the live CD, but when it boots from hard drive install the display changed to 640x480, it is because the system does not know the monitor in use, after I change the monitor to something else with higher resolution it worked fine with full resolution, I just wondering why this happen.
I also feel a bit annoyed about the default setting of the KDE, since my PC is quite old the 'special effect' and bouncing cursor made it crawl like a snail, I wonder if those extra feature be turn off by default in the release version, or can be easily change with few clicks.
