    Adept Manager crashed

    When I tried using Adept Updater to download and install
    this was done using aptitude

    Can't have a new release with out doing 1 of the following during the testing cycle!
    1) break Xorg
    2) break Adept (several times)
    3) break wireless

    but to answer your question I'm afraid its sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get upgrade till it's fixed! Btw this is generally how I do my updates with a sudo apt-get dist-upgrade thrown in occasionally for good measure.

      Synaptic is working great.

      sudo aptitude update
      sudo aptitude install synaptic
