Hi,
I encrypted my external usb hard drive with cryptsetup and luks. Everything works, but mounting the disk with the console is a little annoying. Apparently, gnome-volume-manager, with the help of HAL, is able to automatically open luks containers and mount them. Is there something similar for KDE/Kubuntu?
Greetings,
piquadrat
/edit: I just installed Gnome. It does indeed automount the disk after displaying a password dialog. So Feisty's HAL supports cryptsetup, KDEs automounter doesn't handle the triggered HAL events (or I haven't found an option to enable it)...
