    Kopete problems, anyone?

This has been a "feature" on Feisty for me since installation (Herd #2):
Kopete is starting at the startup and should autoconnect me. Instead it stays offline. And if I try manually to go online, it doesn't work. It just stays offline. I need to close this instance of Kopete and start a new one. This new instance works like a charm and autoconnects me. This is moderately annoying since I always have to quit Kopete and start it again after every boot.

    Anybody else experiencing this?

i'm not. but just a guess and suggestion...
maybe you saved a kde session when kopete was offline. that'd be something i'd check. i did that by accident with a document opened in kate.

btw, which version are you using? i'm running 0.12.4 on feisty herd 3.

No, it's online at the shutdown. I boot daily, this has been for long. Using version 0.12.4. Yeah, this is Herd #3 now, all updates up-to-date.

Have you tried clearing your saved desktop session and trying again?
(kinda grasping at straws here, I don't uses saved sessions)

How do I clear my saved desktop session? These saved sessions seems to be the default behavior of Kubuntu, every installation does that.
