i have installed 5.04 from cd..everything is fast.
I updated with cd to 5.10.....bigg mistake. now the computer is slow. so slow it takes a full day to put in the user name and password.
And inside the os, its the same slow.
I tried cd install of the 6.06, and its the same problem of 5.10.. slow slow slow.
Imac 500 mhz (white, slot loading) + 1 gig ram. + 40 gig hd
i have reinstalled a couple of time to make sure..... and always with the same result.
