G5 iMac (2005.5) getting a modem to work

Hi,
As you may already now the internal Jump modem in the G5 iMac ( 2005.5) model - model before the latest iSight is not found by kppp or wvdialconf.

A POSSIBLE SOLUTION:

Go to your nearest electronics retailer and ask for :

1.) 1 only Belkin USB to Serial Converter

2.) Seek out a Second Hand or new Serial Modem 56k / 56k flex / v90 / v92 then use the Belkin Converter.

3.) Buy an external USB Linux Supported Modem
