Can anyone help me to configure Konqueror to enable me browse the Web?
I just replaced Ubuntu Edgy with Kubuntu Feisty on my Compaq M700. The reason for the change was to access the better Wifi tools that come with KDE. Once I had completed the install I pluged in an Atheros PCMCIA Wifi card and it worked perfectly and I found I could browse the web without problem.
The problem started when I tried to set up alternative means of accessing the Internet. I have set up a PCMCIA dial-up modem (using kppp) and a PCMCIA data card (using wvdial). Both devices seem to work fine and establish a connection (I can ping remote servers across the Internet) but Konqueror will not work with either of them.
Thank you for looking at my problem.
