Hi Guys,
I have just in stalled a Zoom X6 ADSL router, to replace a Speedtouch that died on me.
I am running two othe PC's on a small network, the other machines being Windows XP.
I had Samba set up to allow printing and file sharing across the network, I have tried reconfiguring the smb.conf file with the new IP range, given by the new router, but with no responce, the WXP platforms cannot see the Kubuntu desktop, let alone allow printing. I have not touched the cups configuration as I thought there should be no need.
Can anyone shed any light on why I should be having no joy with this Zoom X6 router?
The manufacturers say the system is Debian compatable, and I have checked the inclusion they require exists in the etc/network folder.
