I am gettin very frustated trying to set up a dedicated firewall PC.
I have installed both ETHERNET cards and configured one to look to my internal Windoze LAN and the other to the ADSL modem.
I have installed both the NFS and the SMB servers. I can browse shared directories on the LAN from the firewall system and I can browse the shared directory on the firewall system from other systems on the LAN.
I can also browse the internet via the outwards looking ETHERNET card plugged directly into the ADSL modem.
BUT... only one at a time! Both network cards seem to work individually but not together. They even seem to be correctly configured together... but when I launch the FIRESTARTER application... it fails with a message complaining about the outbound network card.
Please help. any suggestions are most welcome at this point.
