another wireless question

Hi everyone. Could someone please help me. I am running a dell D600 and I did manage to get my wireless connected and surfing from a friends house from the live Cd. So I am assuming that its not my wireless card. My friend may think it is my router I am running a dlink WBR2310 wireless router... Is there anything I can do to make it connect through my router. I do see my connection in the network manager. I click on it and enter my password for my router and it the loads up to 28% and then disconnects again. What am I do wrong...

Forget about Knetworkmanager. If you do a forum search about it you will see many post. I suggest you set it up using

Kmenu>>systemsettings>>networksettings>>admin mode>>pwd

Just enter the correct info and you should be good to go.
