Hi, I cannot make wireless connection work properly on my laptop.
I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 1845, which uses a Intersil Corporation ISL3886 wifi card with Kubuntu Feisty installed. The network is provided by a wireless access point/router configured to use WPA encryption.
I installed ndiswrapper, wpasupplicant, knetworkmanager and I can see the card as wlan0 via knetworkmanager and also by System Settings -> Network Settings.
Looking at knetworkmanager I can see that my network and its configuration are correctly detected.
However, when I try to connect, the connection holds at the "Configuring the device" stage and then fails to connect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dug a lot on internet to solve the problem, but with little success.
Alberto
PS: I attach my lspci and lsmod if it can be of any help.
