This is my first post on this forum, so bear with me.
I've used nothing but Mac OS 6.x-10 in my short life, and I just recently installed Kubuntu on a partition of my old iMac. I love KDE, and thanks to OS X I'm pretty comfortable using the terminal emulator, so my first experience with Linux has been great.
Unfortunately I've run into one snag: I can't figure out how to network my Kubuntu partition with my other Macs. I'd like to get my iTunes library off my laptop and into Amarok, but I have no idea how to send it over my network. I have never used Windows (unbelievable, I know) so I don't understand Samba nomenclature at all. Could somebody offer me some advice? Is there anyway for Kubuntu to access a shared folder on a mac platform?
I apologize if this has been asked before, if so just point me to the right thread. Thanks!
