This is written from my Lifebook S4572; where everything (except some issues with Samba) installed and worked just fine, including the WIFI network card; connecting to the Internet without having to do anything but wait a few seconds.
At that time I was using a neighbourhood WIFI network - some places in the house with ESSID "SMC," sometimes "default". As "SMC" was the strongest, it seemed right that KNetworkManager prioritized "SMC" over "default."
Then I got my own WIFI - stronger signal and more speed.
But KNetworkManager insists on choosing "SMC". I have to go in and manually change the ESSID every time I start the PC.
OK, this is a minor problem, but when things run almost perfect ...
Is there any way to change the priority list, like I can in ... you know.
