pptp configuration

Hi,

I'm a new in kubuntu and just got installed in my notebook, but I'm having trouble for setting up my pptp vpn connection to my workplace. I have installed through ADEPT MANAGER pprpd, pptp and pptpconfig. After I have configured my connection and I lick start in the pptpconfig the message that I receive is this below:

Using interface ppp0
pptpconfig: monitoring interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/3
PAP authentication succeeded
MPPE required, but MS-CHAP[v2] auth not performed.
Connection terminated.
pptpconfig: pppd process terminated by signal 10 (failed)
pptpconfig: SIGUSR1

I have tried some different configurations, once I have installed network-manager-pptp but network-manager is not starting vpn connection setup wizard.

If anyone of you has succeded to configure properly pptp client please send soem feedback.

thanks for the reply, I have already tried this but it is not working I try to connect but it is not trying to connect to pptp server.

Anyone has a working pptp configuration for Feisty ubuntu or kubuntu ?

Have you tried running the setup wizard from a terminal line? If not, run the command from there as see if it lists any error messages.

I just installed Kvpnc and solved the problem of pptp connection.
