Hi, I'm what you would call a linux newbi. I recently installed ubuntu on my system and after installing a hibernate package everything was running fine. I then decided to install the KDE desktop from the repository and I really like KDE. Only problem is that when I'm logged into KDE I cannot connect to my wireless route, though I have no problems if I log into gnome!
I tried updating the kernel to ~.16 but that broke hibernation and didn't help on the wifi, so I reverted to ~.15
I'm kinda puzzled by this, sinnce I thought that I was running the same network drivers regardless of the desktop environment. Anybody know any solution, or should I just stick to gnome?
Looking forward to your reply, with regards,
Mads
