    Loading web pages in Kubuntu is much faster than in openSUSE

    Hello
    I´ve got only a question, no problem at all.
    I´ve installed new Kubuntu 7.04 and I´m surprised.Loading of web pages (i use opera and konqueror) is much faster than in openSUSE.
    Even in openSUSE i turned off IPV6 and for konqueror via
    edit the file /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager directly
    and i changed the line
    KDE_USE_IPV6=”yes”
    to
    KDE_USE_IPV6=”no”

    For kubuntu is a tip for konqueror also,but i didn´t it.So in Kubuntu is IPV6 turned on.
    So i don´t understand how is that possible?

    Thanks

    Maybe Kubuntu uses a newer version of KDE, or at least the khtml part of it than your version of Suse?, that or Suse builds its konqueror using different compilation options/tweaks/patches than Kubuntu does. There are many reasons why this could be happening, really.
