    Connection Problems

The first time running Feisty live, I could connect to the internet fine. The second time, it just hung on "Configuring IP".

I've tried going into some options and changing things, but it doesn't do anything.

I'm not a total noob to computers and the such, I just really haven't played around with Linux alot. Any suggestions to fix my problem?

EDIT: I'm using an ethernet card, forgot to mention that.

(K)Ubuntu defaults to the use of DHCP - which, depending on your environment, may or may not work ... therefore, to be on the save side, (re-) configuring the appropriate interface should help you on:

    Code:
    [Alt][F2] kdesu kcmshell kcm_knetworkconfmodule

      Tried that. Didn't work.

Still hangs on "Activating: Configuring IP"

Make sure the card is supported, then reconfigure the interface to a static IP (and do not forget to manually provide DNS et al. in the process ...).
