Hello all,
I've tried to install the Feisty beta, and all works fine without problems (congrats for that), except for, you guessed it, the wireless. After some work I managed to get the card (USR MAXg PCI card - Broadcom chipset) running via ndiswrapper. It works fine when associating with an open network, but it doesn't work with my WPA-encrypted network.
I'd prefer not to remove encryption (and WEP is pretty much no encryption). I've currently only tried the KNetworkManager (stops at 28% - activation stage: configuring device) and wpa_supplicant, both with -Dwext (seems to give a disconnect message and timeout - I don't remember the exact message but could search it) and -Dndiswrapper (doesn't even manage to access the card, it seems).
Anyone has any ideas on what to try?
Thank you!
