pppoeconf do not start at boot time

Why after upgrading from Edgy to Feisty my internet connection do not start at boot time ?
Before upgrading it was working 100%, my dsl-provider was activated at boot time.
Now there is no way to do it. I tried in several ways to reconfigure using pppoeconf but always no works at boot time !
How should I reconfigure again ? What to check ? Anybody with same problem ?
    Thank you.

      Hey alpa...

Is it still working for you without issues?

Do you by any chance know why there was a conflict (if at all) between network-manager and pppoeconf?

I am keen to know if this fixed the issue for your permanently - as I've just done as you have and removed network-manager...

      cheers
