    Re: Wireless - WPA Issues

    sirdj,

Take a look at this site. This is specific to getting Centrino-based systems to work with Linux:

    http://tuxmobil.org/centrino.html

You might find some good information there.

    Let me know.

You should try the 7.04 beta of Kubuntu.
      I am using a 7.05 Kubuntu.
Are you trying to ndiswrapper the Windows drivers, or are you trying to use the Linux drivers?
I am using the drivers that came with Kubuntu Fiesty herd 5. It recognised the hardware and installed the drivers automatically. I did not have to do a thing. I know the drivers work as i can connect to wireless networks........Its only when I want to connect to a network that uses PEAP that I have trouble.

I found this thread in Ubuntu forums about setting up PEAP to work with the Lehigh University network. Perhaps yours is similar? I've never done a PEAP configuration, so I can just make guesses. Read some of these posts and you can get a good idea of how to get PEAP configured then

Let me know if that helps.

          jck,
firstly thanks so much for trying to help me.

My wireless adaptor is the ipw2200gb so the config should be somewhat similar.

Will try this out as soon as I am back at the Uni.
