I have been running various Kubuntus since Breezy. I thought I would try the Feisty disc since I like the excitement of downloading the very latest as it takes shape helping out with a little (inexpert) testing.
Anyway, first attempt - after setting the keyboard in the graphical installer it crashes consistently. I have checked the integrity of my installation disc - fine. I have also tried the 'safe graphics' option in the boot and install menu. The screen just goes to wrong with columns down it in graphics mode and the system hangs.
I have an ASUS motherboard with Nvidia Geforce 2 ti200 graphics card.
I have run the hardware database utility in Edgy - the database reference is
5b74cde069d720a6a1ec24f5b9abd66b
Any suggestions? Is this a known problem? Do I have any alternative bu to wait for the next Feisty snapshot disc?
