I recently replaced the 20gb hard drive in my laptop. While FDISKing for Windows 2000 I left 5gb free with the plan of playing with Linux some time in the future. I installed F7.04 and created a 4.5gb EXT3 root partition and a 512mb swap partition. Now I want to give Feisty more room. I used Partition Magic to shrink the NTFS partition to 8gb and have a 7gb gap between the NTFS (/dev/sda1) and EXT3 (/dev/sda2) partitions. How do I expand the EXT3 partition to take up the free space?

Re: How to move - resize EXT3 partition
The best way of doing this is gparted live:
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.php
that link also contains very good info on partitioning and resizing/moving.
