    Boot Troubles...

    Hey.

Have a bit of a problem, and am quite new to the whole linux thingy. Last night I attempted to set up wine so I could test to install Eve online. Problem is that, even though the whole Wine installation went fine, and the installation of the Nvidia driver package, after I had shut down and wanted to start up again, Kubuntu won't reach the login window. Instead it appears to load as it should, then all I get is a nice little "marker" at which point I can type or press return, though without any result. Nothing happens after that. My guess at this point is that I screwed up in the gfx driver install, though since I don't really know how to roll back to previous drivers...what to do I do?

Computer is a HP laptop seomthing 6000 with an nvidia geforce go 7400...

    Tips?
