IBM T42 Intel2200bg and Kubuntu 7.10 RC networkmanager not starting?

I am trying to get my wireless netcard working in Kubuntu 7.10

As I can see Linux detect my card but how do i tell it to connect to my acces point. I am running wpa

When i click om networkmanager nothing happens

Hi all!
I'm new too.
I've the same problem with the same wifi card.
I can't conect to my AP. The encrypt is wpa-psk. Does kubuntu 7.10 support it?
