Taking the system offline works

That just means you have to deactivate your internet connection.

Which also means you will have to install without language packages (Spanish, etc) then install them (language-pack) from your installed Kubuntu and set the languages by hand which is not difficult and maybe a theme for a different post.

I have not internet connection in kubuntu because it doesn't recognize my wifi card, so I think my problem won't be solved "taking the system offline"
