I have updated my kernel to version kernel 2.6.20-16-386 from kernel 2.6.20-15-386.
When I booted to my new kernel the nvidia driver didn't work. So i thought, Let's install it again.
I always install nvidia with the aptitude-command.
So I removed the old driver with aptitude remove nvidia-glx-new.
After this I typed in aptitude install nvidia-glx-new. And started to install the new driver. This driver has some dependencies like the linux-restricted-modules. Now he selects the linux-restricted-modules of kernel 2.6.20-15-386 instead of the 2.6.20-16.386.
How can I fix this so he will install the newest linux-restricted-modules because I think that is the problem that my driver doesn't work?
