This is annoying as I didn't have this problem under Ubuntu. I have tried unpluging it then booting, turning it off then booting, etc, but the only way to get access to my external NTFS drive is to the Mount Point Editor and enable it in Administrator Mode. Then it usually automatically mounts. It is still an extra step every single time. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

Hey guys
I also had this problem (with ntfs3g), but it was solved by unchecking "mount as a user" in the device properties in dolphin (should prolly work in konq too).
A little late but this post (in ubuntu forums) helped me on latest Kubuntu Gutsy.
