kubuntu-7.04 live Cd, keyboard and mouse are'nt working :\ plx helppp

Hey guys, i really dont know what to do now...

Config:
Intel Pentium D 2.66Ghz
ATI Radeon Xpres 200
1G Ram
windows Xp Media Center
Sp2

My prob:
I boot from the the live Cd, and when i get on the menu my keyboard is working fine, but when i press enter to install/launch kubuntu i get this error:

/bin/sh: can’t access tty; job control turned off

And i can press only 1 bouton and after that my keyboard does'nt work.. so i cant try: modprobe piix...
some1 can help ? ? ?

Since you aren't getting a response, I will take a shot. When your computer boots, press ESC then edit the boot line and add the option acpi=off at the end of the boot line.
